James Alvin died on 12.31.2023. We met in 1974 when I came to Florida to be welcomed into the Kelley's family. During my senior year he was my roommate, my friend, also my driver but most of all he became a brother to me. He was a talented musician, played the flute in EHS band, and kept on with this passion long after high school. We stayed in touch for a few years, then we had to wait for FB to be able to get in touch again. He had become an appreciated math teacher and an educator, he was happily married, had two daughters and grandchildren who loved him. Although his disease had deeply affected him, I love to think he never lost his smile and his peculiar sense of humor. I miss you James.
